LISTEN: Distinguished Professor John Matteson to be Interviewed on the WNYC’s Leonard Lopate Show About His Book The Lives of Margaret Fuller


John Matteson, Distinguished Professor of English, will be interviewed about the paperback release of his book The Lives of Margaret Fuller: A Biography on the WNYC’s Leonard Lopate Show.

The show will air on WNYC 93.9 FM at 12:40 p.m., Thursday, January 17th.

Published in 2012, The Lives of Margaret Fuller, examines the life of writer and social critic Margaret Fuller who as the leading female figure in the transcendentalist movement. In 2008, Professor Matteson won the Pulitzer Prize in Biography for his earlier work Eden's Outcasts: The Story of Louisa May Alcott and Her Father.
