Sex Worker Health and Safety
Start Date: 11/5/2014Start Time: 4:15 PM
End Date: 11/5/2014End Time: 5:30 PM

Event Description:
In the United States, individuals engage in legal and illegal sex work on a daily basis. What are their occupational health and safety needs and how do they meet them, particularly in the context of criminalization and stigmatization? To explore this question, this panel gathers sex workers, health care providers, and advocates from across the United States. With the audience, panelists will discuss how they address a range of occupational health and safety issues, ranging from condom use and HIV/AIDS prevention, to negotiating safe and productive relationships with clients (among others).
