The Center on Race, Crime & Justice at John Jay College is hosting an all-day conference: "Alternatives for Safe, Respectful and Effective Policing: Ideas, Evidence, and Past and Existing Practices." Co-hosted by the Center for Policing Equity at UCLA, "Part One" of the conference will include the following speakers:

Allen James: SOS Crown Heights
Sean Johnson: Council for Unity
Professor Candace McCoy: The Cincinnati Model
Sgt. Ronald Fred & Capt. Michael Cram: Philadelphia Police Dept.
