Event Description:
This workshop is aimed at helping students develop an understanding of public administration questions and concepts in relation to readings at all levels of the subject. By means of a standard text culled from Public Administration Review, the workshop teaches the skills of extracting key concepts and addressing text based questions. The importance of outlining and thesis development are discussed and practiced via hands-on writing.
Admission Information
Only MPA students who were registered during fall 2015 or are registered for spring 2016 are eligible to attend the workshops.
Other Details
To register for the workshops, students MUST sign up for workshops in advance either through TutorTrac (, or email their workshop choices with title, date, and time. Since the Center is closed in January to the general population, there will be no one to answer phones in case there is a problem with registering through TutorTrac. In that case, students can only register by email and receive confirmation of such via email. If they need to cancel, they must follow the same procedure.
