Sociologist and Peter L. Agnew Professor of Education at New York University, Dr. Pedro Noguera’s scholarship and research focuses on the ways in which schools are influenced by social and economic conditions and the factors that obstruct and promote student achievement.

This event is part of the semester-long lecture series series titled “The Legacy of Brown v. Board of Education in the Continuing Struggle for Justice”.
