Please join us when JJC alumna Darakshan Raja presents a lecture on institutional responses to victims of gender-based violence within underserved communities. This lecture will present two case studies that include covering findings on responses to gender-based violence in the American Muslim community, and responses to forced marriage in the United
States. Second, this lecture will cover how policy-driven research can be employed to impact policies and laws at the national, local, and international level in order to improve responses to gender-based violence.
