Part 2: Dialogues on Diversity: Skills and Strategies for Student Leaders
Presenter: Katherine Outlaw, Coordinator of Leadership and Diversity, Office of Student Life
This workshop will challenge and engage difficult conversations on dimensions of diversity and identity such as race, gender and sexual orientation. While we find these dialogues challenging they are essential in building authentic cross-cultural relationships as leaders and trailblazers. Participants will leave with increased capacity and an understanding of the on-going nature of the work in regards to what diversity means. |
