Event Description:
Tickets Available for Fifty John Jay Students to Attend the NYCFE Domestic & International Markets Conference

Fifty John Jay students have an opportunity to network with fraud experts to learn how they deploy latest tools and methods to combat fraud and white-collar crime. The opportunity is made possible by The New York Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners New York City Chapter.

The day-long conference will feature experts on topics including government investigations, protecting multi-national corporations and issues in executive compensation. The Keynote Speaker will be H. David Kotz, the former Inspector General (IG) of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Mr. Kotz will discuss many of the high-profile and complex investigations he conducted while serving as IG of the SEC.

As part of the chapter’s commitment to the future fight against fraud, they will be distributing 50 tickets to John Jay students who qualify and awarding scholarship prizes to 5 student essay winners. These John Jay students will be recognized during the luncheon on June 14th for their essays on the topic “Protecting Domestic and International Markets”. The scholarship prizes are being co-sponsored by the NYCFE and Merrill Lynch.

For John Jay students who would like to attend the conference, please email Professor Randall LaSalle at rlasalle@jjay.cuny.edu with the subject title “NYCFE Tickets.”
