Mission

New Student Orientation is designed to introduce students and family members to the foundations of the John Jay experience by exposing them to the services, opportunities, and information necessary to make a successful transition inside and outside of the classroom.

Vision

By the end of the experience, students will be prepared to make a successful transition, be free to learn, and have the ability to succeed academically.
