Faculty Conversation Series: Funding Sex-Work-Related Research
Start Date: 11/12/2014Start Time: 1:30 PM
End Date: 11/12/2014End Time: 3:00 PM

Event Description:
John Jay faculty possess a wealth of research expertise on sex work and related topics, and while a number of funded research projects in this area are currently taking place, other vital research remains unfunded or is still in the planning phase.  Although much of this work is relevant to the funding priorities of federal funding agencies such as the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and the National Institute of Health (NIH), there is also a huge potential for private funding agencies to get involved.  We invite all interested John Jay faculty to discuss their expertise and their research projects – ongoing or preliminary, pilot and personal, creative, unconventional, and expansive – with invited grants officers from a range of influential private funding agencies.
