Introduction to Financial
Independence Workshop:
Becoming financially independent requires an assessment of finances, circumstances and a plan. This workshop will help students identify their financial goals and learn what they may achieve by attending the Financial literacy workshops. The goals and design of the workshops will be reviewed in order to help establish a clear and conducive learning environment. Everyone will be asked to establish financial goals which will be reviewed again at the end of the semester.
DATE: October 2, 3
TIME: Workshops will be held during community hour (1:45-2:15) for 30 minutes: 15 minutes (power point presentation), and 15 minutes (wrap up and reinforcing activity or game).
Location: 1.103 New Building
(Certificates of Completion will be provided to students for having attending seven of the ten workshops)
