Dispute Resolution Certificate Program

The Dispute Resolution Certificate Program offers training in the techniques of dispute resolution and the theory and methods of defusing conflicts. The program is designed to provide students with an understanding of the conceptual issues involving conflict and conflict management, the skills required to act effectively as a dispute resolver, and internship opportunities for the application of knowledge and skills.

Mediation Opportunities

The following PDF document of mediation programs/providers in the New York City Metropolitan Area has been compiled to help identify those mediation programs/providers which offer compensated and/or pro bono mediation opportunities. For additional information about the providers/programs, please visit the links provided under each entry. In some instances, the website address provided is for the sponsoring agency or organization and requires that a search for mediation be conducted. At this point, we are still considering this a draft version. In the near future, the list will be posted on the CUNY DRC’s website. In the meantime, please review the entries and send any modifications or additions to the CUNY DRC.
