What is Student Technology Fee?

The Technology Fee Advisory Committee was established in 2002 to develop the College’s plans for use of the revenues from the new student technology fee adopted by the University Board of Trustees.  The committee was charged with developing a budget plan in accordance with guidelines established by the University as to the expenditure of these funds and to maximize input across the College community. Under the Technology Fee, full time students pay $75 per semester and part time students $37.50. Based upon the current student population at the College it is expected that approximately $1.9 million will be available to meet critical student technology service needs and priorities.

Tech Fee accepts proposals all year.  If you are interested in submitting a proposal online you may do so now by selecting Proposal Request Form.  You can also download an electronic version or request a copy of the form by e-mailing us at techfee@jjay.cuny.edu  or pick up a copy of the form from Yvette Fibleuil in Room 1310N.
