Re: Network Upgrades

During the weeks of July 2nd and July 9th the Department of Information Technology (DoIT) will be performing a series of upgrades to the portion of the College’s computer network that connects the College network to outside networks (e.g. Internet, CUNY, etc.). This upgrade is necessary to enhance the level of service and data security provided to members of the campus community. While DoIT will make every possible effort to minimize service interruptions, users will experience intermittent service outages in evenings, nights and weekends. Definite interruption times cannot be ascertained due to the nature and complexity of this initiative and dependency on CUNY CIS and other outside vendors. DoIT will provide periodic updates regarding this project. If you have any questions please contact DoIT helpdesk at x8200.
