RE:        Emergency Data Center Repairs


Please be advised that on Thursday July 17 starting at 5 pm and continuing into that evening, the electrical connections that provide power to the College data center will be undergoing emergency repairs. During this period the college's network will be down for approximately three to six hour affecting Internet, email and other services. This repair is required to bypass a faulty power device (voltage regulator) that is the direct cause of previous four outages last week and poses a threat to the reliability and integrity of the college's network equipment and servers.
