RE:        Data Center Power Repair

Please be advised that on Saturday September 6 starting at 4 pm and continuing into the evening, the electrical connections that provide power to the college data center will be undergoing repairs. During this period the college's network will be down for approximately six hours affecting Internet, email and other services. This repair is required to replace a faulty power device (voltage regulator) that is the direct cause of four outages in the last month and poses a threat to the reliability and integrity of the college's network equipment and servers.
