Student Government

The Doctoral Program in Forensic Psychology has an active and involved student body. In addition to our students holding a number of elected positions throughout the City University of New York, they have formed a Forensic Psychology Doctoral Student Council (FPDSC), which consults with and provides assistance to faculty in making governance decisions. Faculty and students within the Doctoral Program work closely together to build a collaborative and supportive learning environment for all.

In addition to program and university government positions, our students are actively involved in other organizations, such as the American Psychology-Law Society (AP-LS; Division 41, APA) Student Section. One of our students, Gianni Pirelli, has recently been elected as incoming President of the AP-LS Student Section. For more information on the student section, click here.

The Forensic Psychology Doctoral Student Council publishes a quarterly newsletter, Forensic Forum, to provide students with an up-to-date account of program information and activites. For a list of the issues of the Forensic Forum, click here.
