What is the 24 Hour Program?

The 24 Hour Program is designed to help students prepare for and pass any one of the three ACT placement tests.

What are the benefits or the 24 Hour Program?

bulletIIf you do not pass the placement test by the time you reach 60 credits, you will not be permitted to register.
bulletYou work with a tutor in a small group.

What are the 24 Hour Math Tutoring Program requirements?

• During the Fall and Spring Semesters, the program is available only to continuing students who are nearing 60 credits and need to pass the CUNY Math COMPASS exam.

• During the summer session, the program is be available to those students who have passed either Part I or Part II of the CUNY Math COMPASS and received a failing score of between 25 and 29* on the remaining section.

* Please note that as of fall 2007 scaled scores of a 30 or more on each of the first two sections of the CUNY COMPASS exam, numerical skills/pre-algebra and algebra, are required to pass.

You should speak to the Director of the Learning Enhancement Center to discuss eligibility requirements and obtain an application.
