Professor Martin Horn of the Department of Law, Police Science and Criminal Justice administration was quoted in a column titled “Martin O’Malley Tries to Spin Away Jail Failures” published in The Washington Post. The article highlights the indictment of 13 corrections officers and 12 inmates at the Baltimore City Detention Center. The author questions whether enough was done to prevent corruption and criminal activity in the jail. He is also quoted in an Associated Press article titled “Ga. Has Parole Officers Work in Cars, Not Offices” about the decision to eliminate physical parole offices in Georgia.
