NY1’s Errol Louis Touts John Jay’s MPA Inspector General Program in Daily News Op-Ed on Public Safety Issues

John Jay College’s Master of Public Administration–Inspector General program has received a “shout out” from veteran New York City newsman and commentator Errol Louis, who wrote in a New York Daily News op-ed that the city’s next mayor should tap into the expertise of John Jay faculty.

Focusing on the issue of an inspector general for the New York City Police Department, Louis points out that John Jayhas been training inspectors general from all around the world for more than 20 years. “Instead of going to court to continue the back-and-forth about the inspector general idea,” Louis writes, “the next mayor should tap the professors at John Jay…and dig deeply into what they’ve learned after two decades of educating and placing inspectors general.”
