Professors David Kennedy and Eugene O’Donnell Quoted in Time Magazine article on the Homicide Rate in NYC

Professors David Kennedy and Eugene O’Donnell were quoted in Time.com about the drop in the homicide rate in New York City.

The article, titled “Murders Dip Everywhere, But NYC in a League of Its Own,” highlights the steady decline in violent crime in the City and the debate over the reasons for the drop.

Kennedy, a professor of criminal justice, is also the director of John Jay’s Center for Crime Prevention and Control. O’Donnell is a lecturer in the Department of Law, Police Science and Criminal Justice Administration and is a former police office and prosecutor.
