Adjunct Professor Nicholas Petraco Featured in New York Times article on Authenticity of Pollock Painting
Adjunct Professor Nicholas Petraco who teaches in the Department of Sciences was quoted in the New York Times front page story, “A Real Pollock? On This, Art and Science Collide,” written by Patricia Cohen. Petraco is a retired NYPD detective and forensics specialist who is applying his knowledge and experience of evidence collection and analysis to determine the authenticity of authorship for major artwork.
