John Jay’s Latest Hero Alumnus

New York City Police Officer David Roussine, a John Jay alumnus, and his patrol partner saved the life of an unconscious 15-month-old girl on March 1.

Roussine, who earned his bachelor’s degree in 2010 and a master’s degree in 2011, was on patrol in Manhattan’s Upper East Side with Officer Michael Konatsotis when they received a radio call about the unresponsive infant. They used their CPR training to revive the child just as they were arriving with her at the hospital.
