New Scholarship Opportunity for Undocumented Students

Deadline is Sunday, October 26, 2014,

John Jay College and the City University of New York are pleased to announce an important partnership with The Dream.US, a scholarship fund for DREAMers across the nation. Scholarships of up to $25,000 for two or four-year degrees are awarded to help cover tuition, fees, books, supplies and transportation expenses for students who would otherwise be unable to attend college.

DREAMers who are first-time college students (beginning in Spring 2015 or Fall 2015), currently enrolled students with 12 earned credits or less, or community college graduates may be eligible to apply. Potential applicants must have DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) or TPS (Temporary Protected Status) approval and meet other academic and financial qualifications.

If you are a DREAMer, who without financial aid, might not be able to afford a college education, we strongly encourage you to apply. We also ask that you please help us spread the word about this incredible opportunity.

The scholarship application deadline is Sunday, October 26, 2014.

For more information about the scholarship, please contact Michael Scaduto at mscaduto@jjay.cuny.edu or visit TheDream.US.
