John Jay College and Dominican Republic’s IGLOBAL Establish Groundwork for Future Collaborations

President Jeremy Travis and Leonel Fernandez, former president of the Dominican Republic, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between John Jay College and IGLOBAL/Instituto Global de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Sociales – an organization dedicated to strengthening collaborations and professional exchanges between the Dominican Republic and institutions in the United States and abroad. Dr. Fernandez is the chairman of the Board of Regents for IGLOBAL.

John Jay College and Dominican Republic’s IGLOBAL Establish Groundwork for Future Collaborations The MOU creates agreement to explore the potential for collaboration in areas such as leadership training and professional development of law enforcement personnel. The collaboration between John Jay and IGlobal will focus on innovations and improvements to international criminal justice education, professional development and forensic science.
