I have been a librarian at John Jay since 2007. Previously, I was in the journalism field for a decade, working as an editorial researcher. I have written about television, media history, popular culture and food in both scholarly and popular publications over the past fifteen years. Some of my publications include:

Watching What We Eat: The Evolution of Television Cooking Shows (Continuum, 2009); "A Kitchen of One's Own: The Paradox of Dione Lucas" (Camera Obscura:Feminism, Culture, and Media Studies, 2012); "Murrow and Friendly's Small World: Public Service Broadcasting at the Crossroads" (Journal of Popular Film and Television, 2012); "The Trouble with Archie: Locating and Accessing Primary Sources for the Study of the 1970s U.S. Sitcom All in the Family" (Critical Studies in Television, 2010).

At the Lloyd Sealy Library, in addition to helping our students to become better learners, critical thinkers and researchers, I coordinate print and electronic reserves.
