Austin LaGrone is the author of Oyster Perpetual, selected by Thomas Lux for the Idaho Prize in Poetry (Lost Horse Press, 2011). His work has been published in many literary journals, including Black Warrior Review, Brilliant Corners, Crazyhorse, Fourteen Hills, Hayden's Ferry, Indiana Review, La Petite Zine, Many Mountains Moving, Poetry International, Spoon River Poetry Review and Willow Springs. Austin has been a lecturer for the SEEK department since 2007 and endeavors to integrate photography, street art, film and music theory into the craft of writing and composition. He lives in Brooklyn.
