Justyna Jagielnicka is a three-time alumna of John Jay College where she completed a B.A. in Forensic Psychology, M.A. in Criminal Justice, and a second M.A. in Forensic Mental Health Counseling. Justyna joined the SEEK Department as a CUNYCAP in 2003 and is currently serving as an Adjunct Counselor and a Lecturer. She is s a member of several professional associations, including the American Counseling Association.
Her professional career has been dedicated to the work and mission of SEEK an opportunity programs at John Jay College. She consistently communicates her vision to retain and graduate SEEK students as well as ensure that the students will be among the next generation of civic and educational leaders. Appointed as a Special Programs Student Leadership Academy Liaison, Justyna is devoted to fostering students’ heightened sense of social responsibility through community service. Justyna is fluent in English, Polish, and Spanish. She plans to pursue doctoral studies in the fall 2013.
