Lucey, James

Faculty - English



James X. Lucey received his Bachelor of Arts degree (Government and History) from Cornell University and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo.  After graduating from law school, he worked with Michael Lane, Esq.; volunteered as a Houseparent with Boys Hope, a group home on Staten Island; taught middle school history and English at Nativity Mission Center in the lower eastside of Manhattan and St. Ignatius Academy in Hunts Point; and wrote criminal appeals for Gary A. Farrell. Esq.  Since the fall 2000 semester, he has tutored in the SEEK Academic Support center and taught classes in Developmental Reading and Writing at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
