Mitchell S. Jackson earned his Master of Arts from Portland State University and his Master of Fine Arts from New York University. He has taught writing at, among other institutions, John Jay College for the last eight years. Jackson also works as an entertainment journalist. His novel The Residue Years is forthcoming in the spring of 2013.
