LAW 212. The Criminal Process and the Criminal Procedure Law
A study of criminal procedures which examines the process by which criminal law is brought to bear on individuals in society as provided in the New York Criminal Procedure Law. Consideration of current court decisions that affect the application of this law, and the role and responsibility of the police as witnesses. (Offered every semester.)
