PSC 202. Police and Community Relations Factors in human relations as they affect policing and police management. Prejudice and discrimination and their effects on the police in a changing society. The history and development of civil rights and civil liberties. The role of the modern police officer as generated by the balance of the requirements of peace and order and those of individual rights. (Offered every semester.) 3 hours,  3 credits Prerequisites: English 101. In addition: Police Science 101, or for Criminal Justice majors, Criminal Justice 101.
