PSC 205. The Traffic Control Function
The nature of the traffic control function as part of the police role. Traffic law enforcement as a chain whose links consist of the legislature, the traffic engineer, the traffic court, the motor vehicle bureau and the police. Survey of the functions and roles played by the respective agencies. Emphasis on the police techniques of modern traffic enforcement. (Offered spring semesters.)
