MAT 108. Social Science Mathematics Recommended for students interested in the role of mathematical models in the quantification of the social sciences. Emphasis on mathematical skills and topics basic to the understanding of probability, linear programming, the power index, learning models, statistics, etc. (Offered every semester.) 3 hours,  3 credits Prerequisite: Mathematics 105 or the equivalent.
