ATTENTION ALL F-1 STUDENTS GRADUATING AFTER THE FALL 2009 SEMESTER
*If you intend to
apply for Post-Completion Optional Practical Training (OPT), the
deadline to submit the application to the International Student Advisor
(ISA) is December 7, 2009. Please call 212-237-8199 to set up an
appointment.
*If you are transferring to
another school for Spring 2010, contact the ISA at the
new
school and request a "Transfer Release Form." Bring the form and your
letter of acceptance (from the new school) to the ISA at John Jay
College no
later than December 7, 2009. Call for an appointment.
*If you are graduating with a Bachelor's degree and you have been accepted to John Jay College's Graduate Program for Spring 2010, contact the ISA for instructions on maintaining your F-1 status no later than December 7, 2009.
*If you are returning to your home country after graduation, you must leave the U.S. no later than 60 days after your program end date of December 21, 2009.
*If you are graduating with a Bachelor's degree and you have been accepted to John Jay College's Graduate Program for Spring 2010, contact the ISA for instructions on maintaining your F-1 status no later than December 7, 2009.
